“ Looking for someone to work with my huskies had been super hard. I am so grateful to have found Mahendra in an elevator, training a German shepherd. She has been amazing with my boys and my family. She didn’t just train my huskies but taught me how to keep up with the training. Explaining what was the propose of each exercise, how to look for behavioral changes in there demeanor. My boys had extreme separation anxiety and now i can take them out one at a time without the whole neighborhood knowing. My children are able to handle them better and they are able to be in the family room with us without jumping all over the place. Their personalities have changed for the better and they are both shining in their own way. It has been the most amazing experience. Thank you so much for all the work you did with us and everything you taught us.

I had an amazing experience with Mahendra! Her approach to dog training is both effective and compassionate. She took the time to understand my dog's unique needs and helped us tackle some challenging behaviors. The progress we've made is awesome, and I can't recommend them enough for anyone looking to train their furry friend!

In my short time in being a client of Mahendra McWhite's, I have never seen such a drastic improvement in the maturity and confidence of my one-year-old German Shepherd Mix, Shuri. Last year, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. To help me recover as quickly as possible, I was prescribed a service dog to help me rehab daily and overcome some obstacles with walking in public. Shuri was already a bright and biddable working pup from day one; however, after an unprovoked dog attack by a dog twice her size that slipped out of his collar in March of this year, my dog lost almost all confidence and became reactive to other large dogs when she saw them. After this event, I really thought we needed to wash her as a service dog prospect since I live in a busy city and all things that can happen in a city, will happen. Dog confidence and the capability to perform tasks despite the stressful environment is critical in my situation.
Mahendra, a neighbor of mine, recognized the issue right away and has offered me gentle guidance in passing for many months on ways to increase Shuri's confidence and neutrality in public. We started Shuri's official confidence training on September 2nd and since this time, I have not only noticed a marked difference in how Shuri processes information about her environment, but she is also significantly more willing to look to me for guidance before making a decision. For the past two weeks now, I have been able to take her with me to two major all-day functions (a wedding and a memorial service) without any issues at all. In fact, I continue to get questions from observers about how they can get such a well-behaved dog as well! Because of this, I have not only recommended Mahendra's services to anyone who asks, but Mahendra has also gained new clientele from my recommendations.
As you can tell, I cannot recommend Mahendra enough for all things animal handling. Mahendra just understands animals of all types and personalities. She has also met my two cats (of incredibly different personalities) and both have taken to her right away (which is impressive, especially for my human-fearful cat). I strongly believe she will make a fantastic asset to your team and an even better friend to the animals she’s assisting with.

“Our names are Armando & Margarita. we have a male German shepherd named Ruger. We were concern because he was a bitter and was not comfortable around people, he'd also get upset with different sounds of vehicles that would pass by, we decided to bring into the picture a recommend trainer; we call Mahendra Mcwhit, when she came over the house Ruger showed her right away what he was capable of (BUT) with no fear she stood her ground and showed him consistency lots of patients and that there is no need for those reaction.
Mahendra showed serenity, patient and repeated until he was comfortable and understood the commands, not only did she educated our shepherd she also taught us to be consistence too. Mahendra is a very knowledgeable, experienced, patience and enthusiasm trainer, we never regretted any of the 6 week training appointments we had with her, were looking forward to doing some with our other German Shepherd Mayha, if you love your dogs this is the trainer you can count on and may recommend, you will see the transformation”
