Head-start Puppy Programs & Opportunities

KLA offered two types of puppy programs, under six months and over six months.

Our under six months puppies are referred to our Snoopy‘s Head-start program. This is a three week course (six one hour sessions) that includes one on one direction on welcoming your new puppy home. Before any form of training or socializing I believe in establishing an early introduction to routine in the home. Understanding the ins and outs of potty training, crate conditioning, Hand feeding, or general biting and nipping awareness. This early foundation building will ignite your puppies instinctual need to follow you as a leader.

Over six months puppies are referred to our Clifford or Big red program. This is a four week course ( 8 sessions) Which prioritizes the understanding of markers. Markers are used in training to bring positive associations to new or unsure situations. Building your foundation work with markers are what establish or re-establish those positive relationships in environments and Intro work to various forms of pressure.

All of these steps are essential to build a confident puppy with a good work ethic.
